Trovatore has the reputation to be the most impossible opera storyline for non Italians. In this production our creative team has succeeded in bridging this gap. They put all focus on the characters and the motivations of the lead persons and made the difficult storyline ‘visible’ by using a strong choreography of choir and ballet and eliminating all folklore. The scenery and costumes are not set in a specific time or place to making sure that the audience can concentrate on the essence.
